My Windows Explorer is totally collapsed when opened and I cannot discover how to set it up the way I would like it to open (like with my computer and the C: drive expanded and ready to go).

    What am I missing?

    Welcome to TSG,Dustoff

Right click your shortcuts to windows Explorer and click Properties
    In the Target field,
after the %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe type in /e, c:\ so that it reads

    %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e, c:\

(Note the spaces and the comma :D)

    Click Apply then OK

Gee, that only took about ten minutes! You are da best! Now if you can get it to open full-screen, I will be perhaps the laziest man on earth...

Go back to the properties and look at RUN.
