I am trying to connect, with permission, to my neighbor's wifi. I intend to use a Quad-4 transmitting antenna in the focal point of a parabola at his place and an additional quad-4 antenna on a parabola as receive at my house. 14 db gain should cross 1000 feet. My question is: what connections must I use at each site? My computer automatically connects to any available wifi. He will purchase a router, (Any recommendations)? to add another wifi ready laptop in another room in his house. I want to send his router wifi to my house. Will we need routers in each house? Head scratcher?...Easy?
Thanks guys...keep up the good work.

That's all you got? I am looking to solve the problem not provide a forum for mental shut-ins with an IQ three points below plant life to poke me in the side with their fecal-coated humor. Internet is your savior...closer to me you will still be trying to get back on your feet. Get a life moron.

Let's see, we have several infractions. First off, it's against the terms of service for the ISP to allow such connections, even with your neighbor's permission. Second, we leave personal insults and profanity at the door here.

Please take another look at the TSG Rules, perhaps you missed them on your way in.
