I was wondering if it's possible to connect to the internet with an iPod Touch wirelessly using a wired network. I was thinking that maybe you could plug something into the usb slot on the pc and then it could send out signals so my iPod touch could connect to the internet wirelessly. Is this possible?

What you're talking about is setting up Internet Connection Sharing and configuring the iPod Touch to connect to an ad-hoc wireless network. I don't know if that's possible. Check the Apple iPod forums. You can pick up a simple, refurbished wireless router for about as much as a wireless network USB adapter would cost. Is there a reason you can't/don't want to use a wireless router?

Yes, the problem is that my PC's dont have network cards that support wireless. I'd have to buy new network cards. Or would it be possible to connect the computers to the wireless router with a ethernet cable, like im doing now with the non-wireless router? I dont know that much about wireless routers, do they have LAN ports too that you can connect your PC's to?

Wireless routers have wired ports as well.

Would it be difficult to get it to work? or do you just connect the wireless router to the modem and then connect the PC´s with the router and you're good to go? There will be no problems connecting to the internet with the ipod touch?

It's not difficult to set up. You connect the wired computers and that should be it. There will be some configuration required for wireless. No one can guarantee that you won't have any problems at all. This site exists for a reason. I do know that an iPod Touch can connect successfully to a wireless router. I've done it, and millions of others do it all the time.
