I've been trying to find out the proper steps to connecting an IMAC to a Windows 2000 server/Network. I have gone into the MAC an Manually set the IP addresses for the computer and for the server to connect to; I also have supplied the domain name. I need to know what other steps to take on the MAC to establish the connection.
On the Server, I have configured it with services for Apples, created an account for the MAC, configured a DHCP scope that would include the IP address I assigned to the MAC, and have created a shared folder on an NTFS partition that I would like the MAC to connect to.
I had a connection between the two machines already established, before I decided to change around my server configuration.
