I need to connect multiple Deeper Sonars to one computer. Deeper sonars work by emitting a wifi signal and then you can connect them to an app. I want to connect 2-4 Deeper sonars to one computer. I have windows 10 and I have a USB wifi adapter so I can recieve more than 1 wifi signal. however, I am having trouble connecting the 2 different devices. Every time i try to connect the second device it replaces the wifi of the 1st device even though my computer is telling me I have a wifi 1 and a wifi 2.

Hi mlipkin, and welcome to TSG.

According to the the Deeper FAQ page, they do not have any app that runs on Windows at this time.

In general terms, if you wish for a computer to connect directly to other WiFi devices without using a WiFi router, all of the devices, including the computer need to be in WiFi Ad-Hoc mode. Windows 10 does not have a simple way of enabling this mode, but it can be done.

thank you for the response , I am aware of this fact and am running an emulator on my computer that lets me use android. I have downloaded it off the play store. The app works for 1 deeper. I just can’t connect 2 at a time through WiFi.

Does the Deeper App itself support simultaneous use of multiple transducers/senders?

Do the Deeper Sonars have unique IP addresses? They need to.

And when you connect to multiple networks do they have different IP subnets? You'll have, at best, confusion if they don't.

I have an app cloner so I can run multiple deeper apps independently of each other at the same time. This allows me to use multiple transducers I just cant get both deepers to connect.

TerryNet, I am not sure if they have different IP addresses, they come up as separate wifi signals with different names, but i'm not positive about the IP and IP subnets. assuming that they have different IP's what is the next step i should take. I click windows key and x, then went to the network section and bridged the two connections. what else am i missing.

I have no idea what will happen when bridging those two connections. What do you expect to happen?

I'd first use ipconfig /all before and after bridging to begin to understand the network(s). In case you need info ...

Open a (black) Command Prompt window:
Hold the Windows logo key and press r; in the Run box type cmd and click on OK.
(In Windows 10 you may have to use some other procedure to get a Command Prompt window.)

    Type the following command:

    IPCONFIG /ALL

[Note that there is no space between the slash and ALL.]

    [Press ENTER after the command.]

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

If necessary use a text file and removable media to copy the results to a computer with internet access.

I don't understand much of that. Without the bridge the USB adapter got an incomplete (no Default Gateway!) IP configuration from DHCP server 192.168.10.1 and the other adapter got no response from whatever network it connected to.

With the bridge I'd then expect the same incomplete configuration mentioned above. But instead, the bridge got an apparently good IP configuration from a different server and probably has internet access.
