Hey, I have a linksys, and I was wondering how I connect the router to my PC wiresly? I know its a stupid, easy question, but could anyone help?
BTW: I'm running a WinXP and my friend's computer is the main one, and I'm the one in the other room.

Well if it is all running and your online then that is all you need to do.

If you want to network with other computer you have you plug them into the router too but I never done this so not sure what else you need to do.

Ok lets get this clear for me.

Your friends computer is the main one that is wired to the router?

Your computer is a desktop or a laptop and how old?

Your computer used to connect to the internet wirelessly?? until you reformatted??

You were doing fine, Bill. Keep going.

Arnack, do you have the wireless adapter driver installed? If you need help answering this look in Device Manager for your adapter. If you don't have it, get the latest driver and utility and install.

In my previous computer state (before I formated) I think all it was was just a wizard.. no fancy software or anything. Just a connection wizard.
