So basically the house I'm right now has a main house and a sleep out building connected separately, I sleep in the separate building and want internet access in my room, however the walls are lined with tin which (apparently) disrupts wifi.

So I was wondering if it's possible to plug a router into the adsl in the wall and through that connect it to the modem in the main house.

Whats the ADSL in the wall
is this an ethernet connection from the main router OR a telephone line ?

Also is the outbuilding connected to the mains electrical supply - it maybe possible to use powerline adapters - BUT it really depends on how the electrical wiring is connected.
