It seems difficult for my MS Surface pro 2 tablet computer to discover my new Canon MG3570 wireless printer by blue-tooth, and subsequently connect. Any suggestions?

any reason you want to use bluetooth and not just use the normal wireless signal from a router ?
i dont think that printer has a bluetooth option

is the Pro connected to the wireless network OK ?

My MS Surface Pro 2 nor my iMac discover my new Canon MG3570 wireless printer through bluetooth. So no printing is possible wirelessly.

I've merged both of your thread together.

Thanks Chuck Wozniak, about your hint that Canon MG3570 does not have bluetooth option. I was now able, with an instruction of the internet to install Canon MG3500 series drivers on both my Surface Pro 2 and my Mac. Next problem is however, that both these computers cannot detect the Canon printer. Apparently nothing is simple in the wireless world.

Are you trying to use an ad-hoc wireless connection directly between the printer and the Surface Pro and the iMac, or are you going through a wireless router?

To Chuck Wozniak: I am trying to connect through a wireless router, to which both the Surface and the Mac have a WiFi connection.

There was no particular reason for bluetooth, but meanwhile found out that indeed the Canon MG3570 does not have bluetooth option.
Both the Mac and the Surface pro are connected to the home WiFi network.
