connecting wireless router

    hi peeps,
    i'm gonna format my sisters comp on saturday.. so i wont have the net on this comp...
    and i need help connecting the wireless router to this comp if anyone can help


    i've got a telstra cable and its a motorola modem
    the wireless router is a ZYXEL P-334WT and the wireless usb adapter is ZYXEL G-220

    if you's need more infomation please let me know as i cant get much access with the comps on saturday thanks

    you should not need to do much

    have a look at the settings now
    network connections
    The type of connection you have - Lan or wireless
    properties

    look at the window and make a note of all the files there

    click on TCP/IP - properties button
    note settings in all tabs

    ------------------
    a reinstall from a windows CD - will need drivers, motherboard, video, sound + others

    if from a recovery CD then drivers should all be included

    what are you doing it from

    hey there
    i dont get what you mean when i click on the TCP/IP - properties button
    it says set on obtain an ip adress automatically and obtain dns server address automatically
    and when i go to alternative configuration its set on automatic private IP address
    this is from my comp the one with the wireless connection
    my sisters is the main one with the router and stuff
    do i look at hers or my one?
    sorry 4 not knowing nothing

    all it was was to check the current settings - which you have as above
    OK so check your sisters setting - so you know what to set after the format....
