This just happens on occasion but I do not know how to fix this.
I have 2 laptops on my wireless and on occasions, only one of my laptops will not connect to the internet, I have wireless and it is fine, no connection problems, I have excellent connection, however it shows on the map of my connections, that I am connected but nothing going to the internet.
The only way I know how to resolve this is by restoring the laptop and I don't think that is a proper way to get my connection back to the Internet.

Like I say, it does not happen often but it is frustrating when it does..

Do you have any suggestions I could try?

    Thanking you in advance:confused:

What do you mean by "restoring the laptop"?

Please show for when there is no internet access ...

Start, Run, CMD, OK to open a command prompt:
(For Vista or 7 type CMD in the Search box after Start)

    Type the following command:

    IPCONFIG /ALL

[Note that there is no space between the slash and ALL.]

Right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit Enter.
Paste the results in a message here.

If necessary use a text file and removable media to copy the results to a computer with internet access.
