Shut down and reboot
then run this
shut down again and reboot
IF it transpires that it is Norton Firewall - did you actually run the Norton uninstall tool I sent you
Norton does not appear to be in the list (unless I missed it).I should also add that the crashes still keep happening, even with Norton uninstalled (or partially uninstalled).

No you are correct Norton is not in the list, but even with the norton removal tool, sometimes the Norton chnages to the registry to run the norton version of the firewall are not removed and the problem is often found, as it maybe has occurred here.
That all said there is no need to say sorry - as there was certainly nothing to apologise forSorry, just wanted to make sure it was re-run after DISM.exe (which is supposed to be run first).
