My son was using my computer (Windows 95) and now I cannot access display, or system in the control panel, I click and nothing happens. When I access printers through the control panel the box comes up but the work off line is checked and I can not change it. when I try to print there is no 2 way communication. These problems came up togather at once.

This is very odd, all these things at once.
You have no idea of what he's been up to?
Has he downloaded something you know of?

A couple of Control Panel applets not working could be due to corrupted *.cpl files, but there's seems to be more going on here.

First try scanning on line at Trend Micro HouseCall : http://housecall.antivirus.com/

If you come out clean, try restoring Desk.cpl and Sysdm.cpl from your Windows CD-ROM.
Here are some tips on how to do this: http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q129/6/05.ASP

    Tell us what gives.

    Good luck,
