I just want to know if it is possible to convert a text file that has been saved on wordpad to a .dat file to run a program. If it is possible can you tell me how it is done. Thank you

I think kats44 is talking about writing code to make an executable file.

First of all, a .dat file is not executable by default.

You can run functions using batch files or pick up a couple books on C++.

Correct me if my assumptions are wrong.
