    Hi,

My son has a video on DVD that his teacher made at school that plays in WMP. He wants to convert it to put it on his iPod. Can I do this/what is a good safe software with a trial version if I need it because this would probably be the only one I want to do...

    Thanks,

Here is a free reliable one that can create ipod compatable video from any type of video input file.

A little down the page under the Ipod heading you do not need the DVD Decrypter programme it talks about as your video is a home made non copy protected video. If you need help with it come back and I'll talk you through it as video codecs/settings etc can be a bit daunting if you're not used to them.
