Converting Tracks To Mp3

    I have converted my CD collection to MP3 tracks using CDEX, but how can I convert tracks from my hard drive to MP3.

    What is the file extension of the tracks on your hard drive?

    Tracks are WMP. Thanks.

    I suppose I can always burn tracks to CDRW & use CDEX.

    Do you mean WMA? Yes, you can burn them to an audio disc and then rip the disc to MP3 with CDEX.

    Why didn't you rip them directly from CD to MP3?

    You can get the MP3 writer plugin for WinAMP and convert the WMA files that way. There are lots of other WMA -> MP3 conversion utilities...
