    Get this -

    - I delete all Temp Internet files, cookies and history.
    - Run AdAware and delete all rubbish from the machine.
    - Clean the Recycle Bin and clean Norton's memory.
    - Shut down.
    then,
    - Turn it back on in 5 hrs.
    - Before anything else I run AdAware.
    - I find 1 cookie.

HOW THE HECK IS THAT POSSIBLE??? WHAT is happenin?

Perfectly normal.. dont worry about it. Just so you know, not cookies all cookies are harmfull. Most are actually just there to help keep track of important stuff. Dont pay too much attention to them unless you know you have ad/spy/malware on your computer.

Nok1, the very fact that it was previously removed by AdAware, I thought was enough to conclude that the offending cookie was some sort of spyware. What I'm curious to learn is how the cookie popped right back in without me even getting on the internet!!
