Copy as text the filelisting

    Question about Win2000 :

    Is there a way from explorer or any filemenu to copy as text the filelisting to insert into a document???

    anyhelp would be appreciated

    Thanks. I did a directory listing from dos prompt but it lists details and filesizes. Really close to what I need. Is there a way to list ONLY the file name? I don't know the 'dir' command switches.

    dir /? will give you a list of the switches as with any command from dos you always use /?

    But Karen's directory printer will do what you want it to do and it is free as well.
