copy as text the filelisting

    From a the KDE filemenu (konq or other)

    Is there a way from to copy as text the filelisting to insert into a document???

    anyhelp would be appreciated

    open up a shell prompt and pipe the output of LS to a text file.

    ls > dirlist.txt
