I'm really having problems trying to copy an excel spreadsheet to my cd-rw. I just almost everything and still can't copy it. What might be the best way to do this?

Have you burned other files to CD before on this system?

Have you tried using a CD-R instead of the CD-RW?

Are you using the native tool of XP or do you have some 3rd party burner software?

    Also please see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306524

Have you considered using a flash drive instead? CD-RW disks are unreliable, and as you've seen, a pain in the behind to format, burn, etc.
