Is there a method of copying all the pages and elements of a synchronised website, saved in Favourites, to a CD? I suspect that all the elements are held in my Tempory Internet Files folder, making it impossible to determine which files to copy. Any ideas? The website in question has some 45 pages of 911 WTC photos, and is something I'd like to preserve.

If you have a copy os MS FrontPage or any other WYSIWYG editor you could import the whole web to your hd.

Or you could visit the pages you want to keep in IE and choose File-SaveAs...or maybe one of the guru's here could help you write a batch file to File-SaveAs the whole 45 pages.

Thanks Classy! I'll give your first suggestion a try in Word, and let you know what happens.

ClassyLinks------ Word loaded the first page of the site, but due to it's complicated nature (linking to a mirror site), it couldn't handle the job. But that's a feature of Word that I was unaware of, so I'm still grateful for the good tip! I ending up downloading each of the 46 pages of the photo essay, at http://www.theblackday.net/ -- as complete Webpages and managed to hand-edit the "href" for each image that sent you to the next page. It's all in a folder on C:\, now, and ready for a transfer to CD, when I've re-edited each page again, so that it will run from a folder on-disk. Thanks for answering so quickly! You put me on the right track, so it was well worth your effort. Thanks again, to you, AND TechGuy.

Glad you got it done.

Word wouldn't have been the best tool for the job, but I'm happy you got a method figured out.

Cheers!
