Someone just told me that I can copy my photos (jpg files) to a CD or floppy. I have tried in vain. Do I need special hardware for this? Also, how do I format a floppy?
    Thanks for any forthcoming help.

You need a CD writer to write to CD.

Most floppies come formatted. If you have something on it you want to erase or have an unformatted floppy: Put the floppy in the drive. Go to My Computer or Windows Explorer and right click on your 3 ½ Floppy (A) drive. Select format and then select “quick” and then Start. It will format the floppy.

Find a jpg you want to copy to the floppy in My Computer or Windows Explorer. Right click on the file and select Send to> 3 ½ Floppy (A). it will copy the file to the floppy.
