Hello all,

I ran a Search on a CD and found multiple files with extension .dcm, most in separate folders. I then selected them all and tried to copy them to a folder on the hard drive. However, when it copies more than one file, even if they are in the same source folder, XP recreates the folder structure in the dest folder.

Tried searching Microsoft web site and Web also but no luck.

Is there some XP setting I can change or do I need to find a freeware app to do this?

Thanks in advance.

How are you copying? Are you simply using copy from a CMD prompt, or xcopy or robocopy?
