Core Adware removal

Hi,
I have been trying to remove Core Adware from my computer to get rid of the Internet Explorer popups I've been getting (even when I'm only using Firefox). The popups usually relate to what I happen to be looking at (i.e., if I am looking at a webpage about books, an Internet Explorer browser webpage pops up with a search engine that cites search results about books). Other sites that have popped up include vlaze.com and other random sites. I have Spy Sweeper and it quarantines Core Adware and then I delete it; even after that, I keep getting popups. I've tried everything by looking at the forums and it does not seem to help. I'm not sure if this has to do anything with Virtumonde, which has infected my computer in the past, as well as other trojan viruses (but as far as I know, they have been removed).
