corrupt file

    I'm getting a pop up bubble that states the following
    AOLUnifiedSysTray:AOLSoftware.exe-Corrupt File
    The file or directory C:\Documents and Settings\Hp_owner.....\is corrupt and unreadable.
    Please run the chckdesk utility.

    Please somebody tell me how to fix this.
