Hey so a couple days ago I accidentally deleted a text file that i needed on my USB stick. Realizing what I had done I used recuva as well as many other programs to recover the file all which said the file was in good condition as well as they recovered it successfully.
But, when i opened the file with Open office(which is what the .odt file is from) it only comes up with odd characters like " ±î##ápgÝUÛ¸»x#·RN#=©È÷óø¤)cC²=>$°maàôïÌ?ý;õéßɧ¿òÀ#êË¿÷R[¢¼næN##Ú±#¿õ»#õ ýæ-t*NX¦ÇûGB¼Ì#[Y
ù£#»<¶Îlâ¿f" etc
So is this just the program I used to recover as all seem to come up with the same...does this mean there is now way I
will be able to get my file back? Or is there just something I have to use to "uncorrupt" my file?
