When starting my computer, I get a blue screen with the following error:

"The image ole32.dll possibly corrupt. The header checksum does not match corrupted checksum."

"Stop cc000221 image checksum disable bios memory options like caching and shadowing."

    ????

    How do I disable those?

I booted from my other hardrive, but I cannot see or scan or do anything with the C: (G: is my backup drive that I am able to boot into.)

I really need to get some files of of C:. Am I screwed?

    Thanks for your help.

    do a repair
boot from the xp cd and choose install
when the first repair option comes up continue with install
when windows finds the previous installation choose this repair option
you will have to reinstall any ms updates and your video drivers
