I have a corrupted hard drive with bad sectors. I wanted to clone the drive to another but I get an error because my source drive has bad sectors. It was a Western Digital 1G hard drive and software Acronis True Image. How can I clone my existing hard drive so I can replace it with a new on?

Once the old drive is corrupted, you cannot clone. You will need to replace the drive and reinstall everything from scratch.

After you replace that Western Digital 1 TB SATA hard drive, hopefully you have the means of reinstalling Windows 7 in it.

Anyway, this Windows 7 install and update guide should be helpful to you.

Note: If you choose to stick with Western Digital, select a "Black" model instead of a "Blue" model.
