Hello! I am experiencing some serious laptop problems and I am not sure what to do.

I have an HP Pavillion x360 and it is running Windows 10. The laptop is only about 3yrs old.

So I have not had any other issues with this laptop to date and it is pretty hardy. Last Friday, someone stole my laptop charger and I was forced to buy a cheap one off of amazon until I could shell out for a nicer HP one. I only had the cheap charger for maybe 2 days before the HP charger arrived, but I seriously think it destroyed my laptop.

The problems I have been experiencing:
    - blue screening at random times
    - random shut downs when my laptop lid is closed and in my bag
    - random shut downs in the middle of me doing work
    - issues turning the laptop on, blinking power light, briefly blinking caps lock light (my laptop is on right now though and I am typing on it. It's just now very finicky)
    - the weirdest and most concerning, my laptop will randomly pixelate and the screen will corrupt itself. Here's a pic.

I ran HP diagnostic tool and it says my laptop is in fine condition, which leads me to wonder if the charger I got contained a virus or did something malicious to my computer.

Please let me know what you guys think!

Sounds like your laptop might gotten a little overjolt from a bad power brick. Taking it to a good local shop with good techs with good online feedback may be a good idea. CMOS might need to be cleared and the BIOS reset.

It could be the hp charger you got is not the right one. How does it do on battery? The same symptoms ? What is the rest of you part number? Saying HP Pavilion X360 is like saying "I got a Ford".
