    Hi,

An idea has just come to my head, and I was wondering if it was possible.

Could I let my visitors listen to something live without using any 3rd Party? Like the BBC who used to broadcast live radio using Windows Media Player (they now use Macromedia Flash Player), which was quite cool.

Please note that I don't want to use any third party. I might not do this if it isn't possible.

    Thanks in advance,

    -Ethanw

The only way I know of streaming live onto a website, the way I use at the moment, is with 3rd party software running on the server streaming onto the internet, then embeding a Windows Media Player video player object into your website. The viewer wouldn't have to install any 3rd party software - they would just go into their browser.

If this is what you mean/want, I can give you more info.
