I recently, stupidly deleted my C:\users\Public folder and have been trying to replace it, I have tried restoring the file from a previous version, but it has not helped. I have tried multiple fix methods from the Windows website, as well as shell commands and nothing has helped. When I try to update my skype i get the error

Could not access network location %PUBLIC%\Desktop\
Code 1603

If anyone could help me with this I would greatly appreciate it
