Could not open UDP socket?

    Hi All,

    I have an Aopen machine running W98 first
    edition on a 200mhz pentium.
    I have copied the whole C: drive over to
    an empty 13gig drive for more space, because I no longer have
    the original W95 CD.
    I booted to a floppy and installed a W98
    upgrade CD. All is well except when I go online it connects
    OK but does not go anywhere? I get the following error messages
    from various programs.
    1. Colud not open a TCP/IP port for listening?
    2. Unable to create a socket?
    3.Could not open UDP socket?
    4.Winsock implementation lacks important

    I uninstalled dial up ntwrkng and all the
    network clients, dial up adapters and clients
    and then reinstalled them, but still no go?
    I also download a fresh copy of winsock32.dll
    and used sfc to install it, still no go?

    Please help me anyone.
