Counter Strike Source CD ROM

    CS:S, I bought it today,
    i came home
    put it in the drive,
    and nothing was to be read.
    Dd every single search i could.
    i logged into steam.
    tried it there
    It said i needed t put the disk in.
    I think my drivers are upto date.
    because windows doesnt give e any requests...
    Any Ideas Gentlemen?

    was there any error messages that occured when the CD was trying to read?

    No,
    It wont bring up a set up,
    Nothing happens,
    I acts as if there isn't a CD in the drive when there clearly is.

    Try putting in another game to see if it brings up the setup. If the other game works, take your cs:S back and exchange it.

    im not 100% sure but cant you just Download it off steam if you have the key for it?

    Ummm...
    I already tried installing it from steam...
    It told me to insert the disk. :) I put that in the first post

    Then there might be something wrong with the drive.

    You need a CD ROM drive, your drive may not be able to read that particular format.

    Also you can install the game using the cd key through steam.

    I tried that already,
    I put in the key
    And it asks for me to put in the disk,
    I put that in my first post :p
