Need suggestions on a "receiving" email problem.

We subscribe to Cox High Speed Internet. They provide an email service. However, they only are AUTHORIZED to provide support for Outlook Express users, which I'm not. I'ld prefer to use Netscape Mail (currently have ver 7.0).

The problem is that not all "new" messages are transfered from Cox to our home computer (running under WinXP Home). Usually only one or two messages are "delivered", regardless of how many new ones have been received at the Cox server since we last checked mail. The undelivered mail sits undelivered at Cox slowly eating up our mail space. Needless to say, this is causing problems.

Has any one else experienced this? Any solutions?
