Hey guys!

I'm a music producer, working on a quite strong hackintosh computer (details attached)
I'm usually working with softwares like Cubase and ProTools with no problems.
Recently I started working with After Effects, and all goes well until I try rendering. The cpu temperature goes up quickly and can reach 100c (when usually it's +-30c), when I stop rendering it immediately comes back down.

Is it a hardware issue? fan, graphic card etc? or maybe something in the configurations is wrong?

these are my computer details

I think you need more Graphics Memory. AE like softwares are always hardware demanding. Try to keep it cool. Operating at high temperature can damage the hardware. Check if anything else is using the CPU when you're running AE.

Which version of AE do you use? I myself use the AE CC 2018 for animations.

My laptop has

2.2 GHz AMD Quad-Core A8-7410 APU with Radeon R5 Graphics(4 GB dedicated + 2 Gb integrated)
RAM 8GB DDR3
HDD 1 TB
Windows 10 Home

My processor speed and RAM is not much but I never got stuck in rendering. And no overheating issues.
