I got a new mic and a new pc a week later. I use my mic for games, voice chats and so on. At 1st it worked fine...then weeks later it started to give off this loud buzzing noise in my earphones (its a headset/mic combo) and my mic doesnt work. I thought it might be touching other wires or something but that wasnt it. I just dont know what to do. My volume settings are correct. Am I missing something?

Sounds like a feedback loop or a bad cable from the headset/mic to the sound card. If it's a cheapo go out and get a quality one.
