    do you guys know if a AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ will run a 8gb ddr3 800 mhz ram chip? if not whats the most it could handle?

    what is the make/model of your motherboard, that will determine how much ram
    also that is a older processor ddr2 era not ddr3

    DDR3 ram will not work on that motherboard. It will only run DDR2 ram

    What model number is it?

    Note: The model number is 3 or 4 characters.
