G'day wezzgy, if you investigate the "idiots" range of books you might find what you are looking for, some of them are really good.
Apart from that it you google your question as a conscise sentence in inverted commas you get some incredibly good help.
Typically the search for cumputer terms led to this site, http://www.techweb.com/encyclopedia/
It is amazing the info available just keep trying different keyword combinations or sentences. Remember the inverted commas.
Remember also that there are an incredible amount of free tutorials on most subjects available simply by knowing how to find them, and don't forget the "how to's".
A search beginning with "how to replace a processor" typically will be most educational.
