I have a comp that has been upgraded with window xp home and then upgraded with prof. I don't have a recovery cd. It crashed good the message it is giving is that windows nt only has 511 and it needs 512 to run. What is it trying to tell me. It used to run windows 98 which sometimes I could get back into. Ps is it fixable

511 and 512 sounds like a reference to a memory stick. I wonder if something failed on your memory stcik(s).
If you have another one that you could remove one in there put the new one n to total 512 and see if it works again.
