crashing all day

    Help,
    my lap top running Windows ME is crashing all day.
    Just got an error - OE : O1BF : BFF8E64B
    also IEDLL.exe won't start

    Anyone know what gives, please!

    Spycrud is infecting your system . Download Spybot search and destroy , update it , do a scan and fix all it finds. then download Hijackthis , unzip it do a scan , save the log then copy and paste that log here for further instructions.

    IEDLL.EXE is a homepage hijacker.

    Click Start - Run, type in MSCONFIG, then click OK - Startup(tab).

    Browse through the list of startup items until you find the one that pertains to IEDLL.EXE.

    Uncheck it, click Apply - OK, then reboot.

    This should prevent it from loading during startup and running in the background.

    You need to download and install Ad-aware 6.0.181 and Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.2.0 so you can delete all the spyware files and registry entries that they find. You can read more about them here.
