Hello. Suppose that I am almost zero in web programming and development. How long does it take and what should I do to build a professional website?

Hi, and welcome to TSG.

If this is a one time project, you would probably be better off hiring someone to do it for you. How long it would take would depend on the type and complexity of the website.

A simple web site with just plain HTML and a few pictures inserted will take a day or two. Now if by 'professional' you mean a site msn.com or a gaming site, that takes a whole lot of learning.

If this is a one time project, hire a website design service that can create and integrate a site with a database server. They would design the site for ease of use by visitors and also for administrators to securely manage, add, modify, and remove listings as well as upload and manage related photo files. Make sure to see examples of similar projects they have done for others.

If you wish to do it yourself, you could look into website design software packages that included designing and maintaining the site and also create and manage the database that would contain the listings and photographs. Such software can be expensive and require significant time in learning how to use it effectively.

If you would rather spend a lot of time and effort, but less money you could use the link provided by lunarlander as a starting point and learn how to write, debug, and maintain all of the code yourself.

There are standalone software scripts both free and paid for real estate websites. You could also consider Wordpress and a real estate plugin there are several to choose from. You could do either of these and then use them to learn how to get the look and feel that you want using the link above. This is a link to a review of some Wordpress plugins https://kinsta.com/blog/wordpress-real-estate-plugins/

Don't worry AminAmin.
You can do it using a lot of automated tools available tools on the internet. they will provide you dashboard to develop the website as you want. You don't need to be a tech-savvy or coder for doing so. :)
