I created my slide show in Picassa and it transferred to the DVD+R beautifully and plays back on the computer, but when I put it in the DVR player I get the following message: Disc Error: Playback feature may not be available on this disc. Please eject the disc. Am I using the wrong type of disc here or what? My goal is to have a slife show that we can show on the television. thanks. I'm using a new HP Pavillion Desktop with Windows 7.

no you dont have the wrong disc what type of file did you burn onto the dvd? Your player is trying to tell you it doesnt know what to do with the information thats on the disk, best bet would be to convert the slide show to an avi and rip it with like divx if your player supports divx disk if not you will need to get something like convertXtoDVD and convert the avi to a dvd file and burn it to the disk
