Credit roll in .avi or .mpg

I was wondering if anyone out there knew of a program that lets you automatically generate an upward-marquee, credit-roll style style movement for text which can be saved as either avi or mpg format? I'm making a game using RPGMaker2k3 and really want to insert credits in the end ^^

Try Windows Movie Maker, which is free. All of the movie production programs (Ulead, Vegas, Pinnacle, etc.) let you do that and most of them have a free trial.
