CSS Problems

basically, i want to get a nav bar centralised and with a little bit of padding so that it's just clear of the bars. i can do it in mozilla-based browsers, but it doesn't work in ie. the page is here and the css file is here. i think i know where the problem is, but i don't know how to solve it. i think it's this statement that's causing it:

#menuh-container
{
position:relative;
}

Weird, they used to work. Something with cars.

Edit: it seems like the /new dir was just temporary so that he can ready his site. now it seems that he is done so you can see it at the home page.
