I have a per-made template that is a css base template. In the frist picture it is what it should look like. In the second picture is what it looks like in FP saved and unsaved. Did I miss a step so it will show properly or what can I do to fix it....

FP is not a good editor it adds lots of junk to your code. That aside how does the page look in your browser? If it looks fine there it is just FP's inability to display the page properly. If not it will probably be the junk that FP has added. Have a look at the Free Web Developer Express from Microsoft it does a far better job than FP.

Most likly it is FP. Also did it in Trellian. Shows up properly though in explorer just not in the editor. I will try your suggestion. I have been looking for alternative anyway. FP is so not it....
