    Running WXP Home.

After running Scan-disc my curser freezes & i can't do any-thing, the only way to get it back is to turn of my computer from the tower & turn it back on and let it reboot.

This can't be right. has any-one else had this prob & if so how can it be fixed ?.

This plus your other post indicates some problems so download Hijackthis.
Create a folder on your hard drive and save it there.
Unzip the file and extract it to the folder you have created.
Scan your machine, then click on Save Log.

Post a copy back here and someone will be happy to review it.

Don't make any changes until instructed to do so.

The XP probem with the curser freeze is on a brand new computer.

The other problem is on an older computer running W95.

I don't think the C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\BA4UBX6J are causing any problem just stumbled on them and was curiouse.

I recently had a problem with system freezes on a fast system, it turned out to be my ram, it was cheap ram. I bought some quality Corsair ram & the problem has stopped! I can;t say for sure that this is your issue, but it did solve mine )
