I'm having a problem where the curosr graphic freezes in place and won't move anymore. The mouse still works and can select things but the cursor does not follow along and this makes it hard to properly target things to be selected. It freezes for windows and any programs running or any programs that are started while the problem happens. It occurs randomly while windows is running and stays this way until restart.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Go to the manufactures site and download the latest drivers for the mouse. Once done, uninstall the current drivers and restart the computer. Windows will load the default drivers so let it do so. Now install the downloaded drivers. The will usually correct the problem as you described it.

ok tried what you mentioned but the problem still persists. Even upgraded windows xp home to the latest version. Do you think it is a graphics problem or a windows problem.

Also if it helps im using the Logitech Mx700 series mouse and keyboard.
