I've been happily using a nice cursor from CursorFX for some time now. Suddenly, my computer has reverted back to the boring Windows pointer and I can't get CFX to work at all. I uninstalled it (I thought) then reinstalled only to be told that I must uninstall first.
When I searched it was all still there and still not working but is not listed in my for me to uninstall. It is in Control Panel but I only have the facility to create a shortcut.
Can anyone help me please? I want to clear it from my laptop then, hopefully, download it again.

If I try to open CursorFX from Control Panel I receive the following message:

File does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel.

I have absolutely no idea how to create an association, don't even know what it is.
