The only way I know of changing a Folder Type is thru the right-click/Properties/Customize. Settings like Documents and Music are there.

Is there a way of changing the Folder Type on a selected group of folders, all at once? Not the system wide folder reset, but just change a select group of folders.

If you change the "Parent Folder", you can check the line that applies the change to all the subfolders. For example, if you have a folder set for "music", any folders inside it would also be set for "music". Hope that helps.

Thanks for your note. I avoid using the subfolders setting because I found that things get screwed up if you move folders around.
