My E drive is the source drive and the D drive is the record drive. Up until now it was working well. When I now put a disk in D drive and go to run it I get a message that tells me to put in a blank disk. When I put in a disk with info on it and try to run it I still get the message to install a blank disk. I also cannot copy a disk now from E drive to D drive..Any suggestions:

Try unplugging the data cable and plugging it back in. Sometimes a little corrosion builds up and this would solve that. You may end up having to replace the drive as it is not even detecting disks. Have you check in device manager to see if it shows a problem there(! or ?)?
