    Im learning about the guts of the computer..and getting parts
    to put one together...I have a dumb question..Im sure...
    I have my case...where would you get slot covers..? the one that
    is on my case wouldnt make up with the motherboard I would
    like to get...thanks for any help....

    Do you mean the slot covers for the front, ie DVD/CD area, or the back of the case?

    the back cover..that would cover up the spacing between
    usb ports..etc..

    most decent mobo's come with that plate.

    It's called an I/O shield and the case should have come with one, unless you have one of the many new mobo that have the new ATX configuration in which case, the mobo should have came with it. If it didn’t then contact them for the I/O shield.

    ok....duh me...I went back to the pic of the motherboard
    and now I see the plate,to exchange my plate for...
